What if the next gem of the hard music scene was you? For its first edition, Crazy New Year Festival is opening up one of its artist slots to the public with a DJ Contest. Up for grabs: a set on the Ekinox stage on 31 December. Here are the rules and everything you need to know to take part.
The concept: your set, our stage
The idea is simple: to give an emerging talent a real showcase, alongside the international headliners. The festival is looking for a DJ who can carry the hard music energy in front of a wild crowd.
The rules: how to take part
Trying your luck is easy:
- Prepare a 30-minute mix.
- Upload it to SoundCloud or Mixcloud, using the official contest artwork.
- Post it on our Facebook event (link in bio).
- Stick to the accepted styles : Hardstyle, Hard Techno, Tekno and Rawstyle.
⏳ Entry deadline: 20 November.
The selection: the audience has the final say
Once applications close, the team listens carefully to every set and picks a shortlist of finalists. Then it’s up to you, the audience, to choose the overall winner : the DJ with the most votes wins. The contest ends on 1 December.
