What makes a festival unforgettable is of course its headliners… but also the unique moments etched forever in festival-goers’ minds and hearts, designed to be experienced only once, and the first edition of Crazy New Year Festival was a real success in that respect. With an explosive VERSUS, a 100% French B2B and an exclusive concept, here’s a look back at the many highlights of the 2025 line-up.
The VERSUS: Lekkerfaces × Mind Compressor
How do you bring two Uptempo heavyweights together on one stage? By making them face off! Crazy New Year delivered an exceptional head-to-head between Lekkerfaces and Mind Compressor, two artists who know each other well — they notably released the track “FA TI CO” together.
The B2B: RDØ × N-XD
Another eagerly awaited exclusive: the back-to-back by the “two spiciest Frenchies” on the bill, RDØ and N-XD. The two artists, who had already teamed up on their joint track “SOUL” (which made the Masters of Hardcore Top 100 2024), delivered 45 minutes of pure Uptempo and Hardcore madness.
Scheduled at the very end of the night, this supercharged set closed the night in style and was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the edition.
The concept: CLASSIK 2.0 by Krykor
Finally, Krykor presented his brand-new concept exclusively at Crazy New Year: CLASSIK 2.0. On the menu: a DJ set blending Classic, Euphoric and Oldschool sounds with today’s Hardstyle — a mix of memories, edits and remixes for a nostalgic yet fiercely modern journey.
