Ladies and gentlemen, the countdown has begun! For its second edition, Crazy New Year Festival is finally revealing the names of the first 3 artists who will be performing on 31 December 2026 at the Ekinox in Bourg-en-Bresse. The venue will open its doors once again to celebrate, for the second time, the arrival of the New Year to the beat of Hard Music.
Three first names for a first announcement
True to its eclectic vision of Hard Music, the festival is kicking things off with a trio representing several facets of the genres and subgenres of Hard Music:
- Dimitri K — An undisputed master ofUptempo, his fast, brutal kicks combined with relentless energy will thrill anyone who loves raw sensations
- Aversion – a key figure on the Rawstyle scene, the genius behind the track Activation will whip the crowd into a frenzy with his destructive kickrolls.
- Flymeon – A creator like no other, he will present a hybrid universe between hard techno, rock and metal, driven by truly explosive and unpredictable energy.
And this is only the beginning. The organisers recently confirmed that more announcements will follow in the coming weeks, gradually revealing a mouth-watering line-up that will be every bit as good as the first edition.
Welcome to Egypt: the new theme of the 2026 edition
After a first jungle-themed edition, Crazy New Year is changing scenery and this time taking us to the heart ofAncient Egypt. Pyramids, pharaohs and mysteries: the festival has set an original, never-before-seen backdrop in the world of Hard Music right from its announcement.
With a stage design rethought for total immersion, the move into 2027 will feel like an expedition through time, promising a true sonic and sensory journey.

So once again, the show will take place at the Ekinox, 25 avenue du Maréchal Juin – Bourg-en-Bresse . There, a whole night dedicated to Hard Music awaits you, with a spectacular sound and light show on the menu, powered by a real soundsystem as well as lighting and XXL lasers. Also worth noting: a small new feature (and not the least) joins the stage this year. There won’t be one but two VIP areas set up so you can experience the moment as close to the stage as possible, plus food trucks and bars to keep you as comfortable as possible during these 10 hours of spectacular show.
